The Mountain West announced the All-Conference teams on Tuesday, and Fresno State did not have a single player selected to the first team.
Several Bulldogs, however, were named to the second team and as honorable mentions.

The big picture: Offensive lineman Mose Vavao, linebacker Levelle Bailey, defensive lineman Devo Bridges, cornerback Carlton Johnson and cornerback Morice Norris Jr. were selected to the second team.
- Wide receiver Erik Brooks, quarterback Mikey Keene, running back Malik Sherrod, left tackle Jacob Spomer and tight end Tre Watson were named as honorable mentions.
- This is the first time since 2016 that the Bulldogs were left off of the All Mountain West First Team.
- Further, Fresno State was not represented in the conference’s year-end awards either.
- Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty was named the Offensive Player of the Year. Colorado State defensive end Mohamed Kamara was named the Defensive Player of the year, and UNLV kicker Jose Pizano joined them as the Special Teams Player of the Year. UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava was named Freshman of the Year.
- UNLV Head Coach Barry Odom was selected as the Coach of the Year, leading the Rebels to a 9-3 record and a spot in the Mountain West title game on Saturday in his first season with the program. This has been UNLV’s most successful season since 1984.
