Former Bakersfield Condors trainer Chad Drown has had his court hearing postponed once again as he faces two felonies for attempting to meet a minor to commit a sex act.
Drown was arrested by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office in October 2022 and immediately fired by the Condors.
Driving the news: Along with the felony to commit a sexual offense with a minor, Drown is also charged with the intent to commit a sexual offense.
- He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment.
What we’re watching: Drown’s court hearing will take place on May 22 after being scheduled for last Thursday.
- He will also be in court on May 23 for a preliminary hearing.
- The initial pre-preliminary hearing was scheduled for January 23 before being moved.
