Which Valley schools are closed due to coronavirus? Here’s the full list.

Fresno Unified – the state’s fourth largest school district – will announce closures of campuses in response to coronavirus, a Fresno Unified trustee said.

Friday afternoon, school districts across the San Joaquin Valley began announcing closures due to coronavirus.

Below is a list of cornavirus-related school closures across the San Joaquin Valley:

Fresno County

  • Fresno Unified – CLOSED through April 13
  • Clovis Unified – CLOSED through April 13
  • Central Unified – CLOSED through April 20
  • Fresno Christian Schools – CLOSED through April 13
  • Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno Schools – CLOSED through March 29

Tulare County

  • Visalia Unified – CLOSED through April 13
  • Tulare Joint Union High School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Tulare City School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Exeter Unified – CLOSING Wednesday through April 13
  • Woodlake Unified – CLOSING Tuesday through April 13
  • Tipton Elementary School District – CLOSED through April 14
  • Porterville Unified – On Spring Break, returning as scheduled
  • Lindsay Unified – OPEN as of Sunday
  • Dinuba Unified – OPEN as of Sunday
  • Farmersville Unified – OPEN as of Sunday; Emergency Board meeting scheduled for Monday
  • Tulare Co. Office of Education – Schools OPEN as of Sunday

Kings County

  • Hanford Joint Union High School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Hanford Elementary School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Lemoore Union High School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Lemoore Union Elementary School District – CLOSED through April 13
  • Corcoran Unified – CLOSED through April 13

Kern County

  • All Kern County School Districts – OPEN as of Sunday
    Kern County Superintendent of Schools Mary Barlow announced a recommendation to all schools in the county to close no later than Wednesday and reopen no earlier than Tuesday, April 14.
