Dinuba City Councilwoman Maribel Reynosa, who represents Ward 2, is running for reelection against Cecilia Jimenez, a hospitality aide.
Ward 3 councilman Armando Longoria is also running for reelection and faces challenger Benjamin Prado, a mortgage loan originator.
Ward 4 also sees an incumbent facing off against a challenger. Councilman Kuldip Thusu is up against Dana Rager for the position.
Exeter
Exeter City Councilman Frankie Alves currently represents District C and will face Chris Clark, a businessman, in the November election.
In District D, Councilman Steven Garver was appointed to the position and is running for a full term against registered nurse Vicki Riddle.
Farmersville
The Farmersville City Council will feature some new faces after the November election.
With three seats up for grabs, Councilman Paul Boyer is the only incumbent running for reelection.
He faces three challengers for the three open seats: Carrie Ortiz, Armando Hinojosa and Tina Hernandez.
Since the top three vote getters will be elected, only one of the candidates will go home empty handed on election night.
Lindsay
The two incumbents on the Lindsay City Council that are up for reelection face two challengers.
Councilmembers Yolanda Flores and Rosaena Sanchez are seeking another term in office against challengers Elvia Jara and Julie Grzybek.
The top two vote getters will win the seat next month.
Porterville
Porterville City Councilwoman Lawana Tate was appointed to her position and is running for a full term against Raymond Beltran for the District 1 seat.
Council District 2 will see stationary engineer Greg Meister and logistics manager Jason Gurrola face off to replace Milton Stowe.
Tulare
The two candidates running for reelection on the Tulare City Council are not facing any challengers.
District 2 Councilwoman Terry Sayre and District 4 Councilman Dennis Mederos both will have a walkover on election night.
Visalia
District 3 Councilman Brian Poochigian is up for reelection against Heather Carter, a personal trainer.
In District 4, three candidates are vying to replace longtime Councilman Greg Collins as he has decided against running again.
Those candidates are business owner and lawyer Bob Ainley, community development specialist Emmanuel Soto and small business owner Marie Line-Labbee.
District 6 Councilman Steve Nelsen is being challenged by contractor Kris Korsgaden.
In addition to the three full-term races, voters in District 1 will decide who will represent them on the council in a short term that will end in two years.
Councilwoman Liz Wynn was appointed by the council last year.
She is running to stay in her seat against Justin Bolton and business owner David Farris.
Woodlake
Woodlake voters will have an easy time filling out their ballots next month.
Only three candidates have filed to fill three seats on the Woodlake City Council.
Two of them are already on the council: Memo Valera and Frances Ortiz.
Misty Wallace is the third candidate who will take a seat on the council after the election.
