Six Bulldogs will appear in postseason all-star games as they try to impress NFL scouts ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
More players could be invited to participate throughout January.
The big picture: First up is the College Gridiron Showcase and Symposium in Fort Worth, Texas, from Jan. 5-7.
- Defensive back Morice Norris Jr. will participate in the event, which features practices with professional coaches, drills, meetings and interviews before playing in an officiated game.
- Wide receiver Erik Brooks will join Norris at the College Gridiron Showcase.
- Linebacker Levelle Bailey and defensive back Carlton Johnson have accepted invitations to the Hula Bowl on Jan. 13 in Orlando, Florida.
- Founded in 1946, the Hula Bowl All-Star Football Classic invites the top 100 college football players to play in front of scouts.
- Offensive lineman Tyrone Sampson Jr. and long snapper Nick D’Ambra will compete in the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl in Orlando, Florida, from Jan. 18-20.
