The big picture: Mr. Monopoly will be at City Hall on Thursday morning to stand alongside Mayor Jerry Dyer to celebrate the game replacing iconic properties like Park Place and Baltic Avenue with Fresno locations.

  • Fresno residents can offer their own suggestions for the game through May 10 by emailing fresno@toptrumps.com.
  • Top Trumps USA has the license from Hasbro for each community in North America.

What we’re watching: Top Trumps expects to have the game available for purchase in November through local retailers, online stores and other select stores in Fresno.

What they’re saying: “We are excited to welcome Mr. Monopoly and celebrate the announcement of Fresno’s very own Monopoly board,” Dyer said. “This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the vibrant culture and significant landmarks of our city. It’s also another opportunity for us to come together, as One Fresno, and share what makes our community special.”
