Barrelhouse unveils upcoming Fresno location

Three months after announcing that it would open a taproom in Fresno during the California Food Expo, Paso Robles-based Barrelhouse has finally made its Fresno location public.

The taproom will open at The Shops at River Park in the location that previously housed Wavelengths Surf Shop and SBI.

Spanning 6,000 square feet of floor space along with an outdoor patio, the taproom follows a formula built on its two other taprooms – in Visalia and in Paso Robles’ Tin City – by regularly featuring live music acts.

The brewery operates a third, speakeasy-style, tasting room in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Barrelhouse’s entrance to Fresno comes as a number of breweries and cocktail bars open up shop in the South Stadium neighborhood of downtown Fresno, forming the Brewery District.

The Fresno taproom at River Park is expected to open this summer, the brewery said.
