Last month the Bureau of Reclamation announced a 15 percent allocation for South-of-Delta water contractors.
As has happened in previous years, the Bureau can boost that allocation as it sees fit.
With recent storms since the initial allocation hitting California, the state’s reservoirs are now filled above average, and the snowpack in the Sierra Nevada mountains are over 100 percent of the average for this date.
