Dejan Milojevic, an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, passed away Tuesday night at the age of 46.
Milojevic suffered a heart attack while at a team dinner in Salt Lake City.
The big picture: Milojevic, a native of Serbia, is survived by his wife, Natasa, and children, Nikola and Masa.
- He was in his third season with the Warriors and helped lead the team to the NBA Championship in 2022.
- Wednesday’s game against the Utah Jazz has been postponed because of Milojevic’s passing.

In addition to being a terrific basketball coach, Dejan was one of the most positive and beautiful human beings I have ever known.”
