Fresno State volleyball is headed to the NCAA tournament for the first time in over two decades.

The big picture: Fresno State will face off against Stanford on Friday in Palo Alto, the NCAA announced on Sunday.
- Stanford, the Pac-12 champion, is one of four No. 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament, while the Bulldogs enter unseeded.
- The winner will go on to play either Houston or UC Santa Barbara.
- Fresno State beat Colorado State last week in the Mountain West title game to claim the conference championship and punch its ticket to the NCAA tournament.
- This is the first time the Bulldogs have played in the NCAA tournament since 2022 and the fifth appearance overall.
