Tedford announces support staff hires

Several new faces join one familiar one in support roles for Fresno State Football.

Several new faces have been added to Fresno State Football’s support staff. 

Head Coach Jeff Tedford announced the hires on Tuesday. 

Promoting from within: Fresno State’s Director of Player Personnel Mason Behiel has been named Assistant Athletics Director for Football. 

  • Behiel moves up after just one year with the program, where he oversaw all aspects of player personnel and recruiting. 

Support staff hires: Allie Banducci has been hired as Director of Football Operations, coming from Northern Arizona. 

  • On the recruiting front, Jaden Diamond and Jake Rasmussen have been brought on as Assistant Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations, respectively. 
  • Diamond joins the ‘Dogs from Sacramento State, and Rasmussen heads to the Central Valley after three years at Eastern Washington. 
  • They join former Bulldogs defensive back L.J. Early, who remains on staff as Director of Recruiting Operations. 

Graduate assistants: Malik Forrester, Bijan Hosseini and DelVon Hardaway join the team as graduate assistants. 

  • Forrester will work alongside defensive line coach Jethro Franklin, Hosseini will assist offensive line coach Matt Smith and Hardaway will work with the receivers, the position he played for the Bulldogs from 2013-2018.
