She has served on the community college board since 2018 and also serves as an appointed member to the Fresno Tower District Design Review Committee and as an advisory member of the Fresno State Transportation Institute Advisory Board.

“I’m honored to be selected by Gov. Newsom to serve on the Big Fresno Fair Board of Directors,” Perea said in a statement. “The Fresno Fair plays an important role in highlighting local businesses, especially our agricultural industry – the lifeblood of the Central Valley, our great state and the nation.

“I look forward to working with my fellow board members to support our agricultural industry and workers during these particularly challenging times caused by COVID-19. Attending the Big Fresno Fair has been a long-standing tradition for many Valley families, including my own. I hope to be part of preserving a thriving and successful Big Fresno Fair for generations to come.”

Chahil has been the President of California EB5 Investments since 2017 and also was the District Director for Congressman Jim Costa (D-Fresno) from 2016-2018.

Flores is currently the president of the Sheet Metal Workers 104 Retiree Club as well as a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 and the Civil Service Board in Fresno.

Before his time as president of the retiree club, Flores worked as a union representative for the Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 from 2003-2014, one of the various roles that he has held with the union dating back to 1975.

Gonsalvez has been a partner at Superior Dealer Insurance since 2007. He also has experience in farming, having worked with Duvall Ag, Letson Limited Ag LLC and Bennie Gonsalves Diary.
