Big Fresno Fair adds Willie Nelson, Chris Janson concerts

Shotgun Willie is headed to the Fresno Fairground’s Paul Paul Theater in October.

Country music star Chris Janson will start the Big Fresno Fair’s 2019 concert series on Oct. 2, the fair announced Thursday.

Janson is known for back-to-back number 1 hits “Fix a Drink” and “Buy Me a Boat.”

Later in the series, legendary singer-songwriter Willie Nelson will perform on Oct. 14.

Tickets for Jansen run $29, $34, and $44. Tickets for Nelson & Family run $35, $45, and $55.

Pre-sale for both shows begins on June 18 at 9 a.m. for Big Fresno Fair Fan Club Members.

General public tickets go on sale on June 25 at 9 a.m.

Other performers visiting the Paul Paul Theater at the Fresno Fairgrounds include comedienne Roseanne Barr, Spanish singer-songwriter Christian Nodal, R&B and funk acts Tower of Power and WAR, and Christian band Newsboys.
