Last week’s announcement from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation that the water allocation for south-of-Delta contractors was increased by five percent was met with disappointment.
Wednesday, Rep. David Valadao (R–Hanford) took to the House floor to urge Reclamation to boost water supplies far higher than 40 percent, which is where the latest allocation stands.
