A Fresno Police Department sergeant was arrested on Wednesday on a felony charge involving attempted relations with a child.
Driving the news: Fresno police announced that Sergeant Paige McQuay, 56, was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
- He faces charges of attempting a lewd act upon a child and communication with a minor intending to commit an unlawful offense.
- The Roseville Police Department notified the Fresno Police Department that a felony warrant had been issued for McQuay’s arrest.
- McQuay has served on Fresno’s police force since December 1993.
- He has been placed on paid administrative league pending an internal investigation.
