The Fresno Police Department’s most recent DUI checkpoint resulted in nine arrests.
The big picture: Fresno Police announced that the DUI Checkpoint at Clovis Ave. and Lamona Ave. was held on Dec. 22 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- There were 21 drivers cited for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended or revoked license.
- Fresno Police contacted 289 vehicles through the checkpoint.
- The next DUI enforcement operation will be a saturation patrol scheduled for Dec. 31.
