The Fresno-based 144th Fighter Wing conducted a flyover across California on Wednesday, celebrating frontline workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 144th Fighter Wing, based at the California Air National Guard Base in Fresno, conducted a flyover Wednesday across California to celebrate frontline healthcare workers and first responders during the coronavirus pandemic.

The flight path stretched north to Sacramento, headed due west to the San Francisco, before flying south along the California Coast line to Santa Barbara and transitioning east to Bakersfield, then north to return to Fresno.

The flight, which departed from the Fresno base on Wednesday morning, had low pass flyovers in Sacramento – covering the California Capitol Building, the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, and the CHP Academy.
