During morning speeches on the House floor, Rep. Jim Costa (D–Fresno) commemorated Sanger native and four-time Super Bowl champion Tom Flores as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Flores is currently a nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
