Bullard High grad Williams scores goal at Paris Olympics

The Bullard High grad kicked off Team USA’s battle against Germany in Paris.

On the second day of the Paris Olympics, former Bullard High School graduate Lynn Williams scored a goal in the U.S. Women’s national soccer team against Germany.

Driving the news: Williams’ goal was the last of four goals scored against Germany, resulting in a 4-1 win for the U.S. team in group play.

  • The other three goals were scored by Mallory Swanson and two from Sophia Smith.
  • Williams and the U.S. team will play against Australia on Wednesday to conclude group play.
