- He was joined by fellow Representatives Salud Carbajal (D–CA), Jimmy Panetta (D–CA) and Don Bacon (R–NE).
- They traveled through Konovaltsia and Kokorudza streets in Lviv, Ukraine, where seven people, including three people, were killed by a Russian missile on Sep. 4.
What they’re saying: “I am honored to receive this accolade and will continue to work with Ukraine to help it defend itself and preserve its sovereignty,” Costa said. “The United States and Ukraine share a commitment to democracy and security. I look forward to continuing our collaboration and standing with the resilient Ukrainian people.”
