Gallo Center gears up for 17th anniversary with star-studded lineup

The Modesto-based performing arts center unfurled a star-studded lineup of music, comedy, and speaking talent for the 2024-2025 season.

The Gallo Center in Modesto has a number of star acts coming through town in the 2024-2025 season. 

It’s the 17th anniversary for the performing arts center in downtown Modesto. 

What we’re watching: The official season opener will take place on Sep. 14 with “Michael Feinstein: My Tribute to Tony Bennet,” featuring the Carnegie Hall Big Band. 

  • National Broadway tours will once again visit the Gallo Center. Hadestown will kick off the Broadway tours on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13, followed by The Book of Mormon on Jan. 15 and Jan. 16, Dear Evan Hansen on Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, Pretty Woman: The Musical on March 5 and March 6 and The Cher Show on March 25 and March 26. 
  • Comedian Nikki Glaser will take the stage on Sep. 21. 
  • October includes television magician Michael Carbonaro and The Office Trivia Show with David Koechner, who played Todd Packer in the sitcom. 
  • KC & The Sunshine Band will perform on Nov. 9, with a number of Christmas shows – including Jane Monheit – filling out December. 
  • Looking at 2025, the Gallo Center will host Complexions Contemporary Dance, Delfeayo Marsalis & The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Patti LuPone and many other acts.
