Five new members are joining the ValleyPBS Board of Directors, which the organization said is part of the ongoing mission to provide diversity and governance expertise to the board.
Architect Ralph Goldbeck, BizFed CEO Clint Olivier, Immanuel Schools CAO Andy Souza, Olam Food Ingredients Marcelino Valdez and teacher and researcher Jill Poulsen were announced as the new members.

“One of our goals in this process is to search for people who are involved and connected to their communities,” said board president Jody Graves in a statement.
“Per our bylaws, we can have up to 16 board members. We now have 10, and we are continuing our recruiting efforts.”
Valley PBS said it is focused on bringing diverse backgrounds to the board, as well as an expertise in education, arts, veterans affairs and agriculture.
“Our goal is to tell the stories of this valley,” Graves said. “We have people with long histories here and these new members bring energy and purpose to the station.”
The Board of Directors has meetings five times per year at the downtown station.
