Fresno police busted an illegal casino operation and narcotics sales during an investigation on Wednesday.
The big picture: Detectives from the Southeast Policing District received a tip of an illegal casino at 3777 E. Olive Ave.
- The ensuing investigation found that narcotic sales were also occurring at the location, leading police to get a search warrant.
- Officers arrested Khamphonh Phaphonh on firearms and drugs charges.
- They also placed Kevin Pech in a parole hold.
Go deeper: During the search on Wednesday, detectives seized three firearms, a P80 9mm, a Keltec 9mm which was reported stolen and a Sig Sauer P238.
- Detectives also seized three operational slot machines and five pounds of methamphetamine that were packaged for sale.
