Alaska Airlines launches seasonal Fresno to Guadalajara route 

Fresno ranks among the top in the nation for travelers heading to Guadalajara. The new seasonal route through the winter months will provide more options.

Travelers now have another option to visit Mexico by flying out of Fresno. 

Alaska Airlines launched its seasonal international route to Guadalajaria, Mexico, on Tuesday, with it scheduled to run through Feb. 12, 2025. 

The big picture: The seasonal non-stop service will operate daily, departing Fresno at 11:35 p.m. and arriving in Guadalajara at 5:00 a.m. 

  • The return flight will leave Guadalajara at 8:52 p.m. and land in Fresno at 10:56 p.m. 

Zoom out: Fresno ranks fourth in the nation in the number of travelers flying from the United States to Guadalajara. 

What they’re saying: “Alaska Airlines’ new seasonal service to Guadalajara adds a much-needed nonstop connection between Fresno and Mexico during the busy winter months,” said Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer. “This exciting addition brings families and friends closer for the holidays while showcasing the progress at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, including the ongoing terminal expansion. We’re looking forward to even more growth in the year ahead.”
