Clovis episode of ‘Extreme Makeover’ to air on Sunday

Set in Clovis, one of the first episodes filmed for the reboot of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” is finally about to air on HGTV.

An episode of the newly-relaunched “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” featuring construction of a home for Clovis widower Nick Reeder is set to air on HGTV this Sunday, the network announced.

Reeder, a CAL FIRE firefighter, lost his wife while giving birth to the couple’s twin daughters roughly three years ago.

Since her passing, Reeder and his three daughters lived in a cramped apartment in Fresno County and have lived with the help of Reeder’s mother.

In August, the crew of ABC-turned-HGTV program headed to a new Clovis housing development led by DeYoung Properties to start constructing a new home in a single week.

The reboot is hosted by “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The episode will air at 8 p.m. Pacific on HGTV.
