The rodeo has raised over $100,000 for Valley Children’s over the past several years.

Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation has received a $25,000 donation from the Clovis Rodeo Association.

The Clovis Rodeo Association presented the check at Valley Children’s Hospital on Tuesday.

Driving the news: Funds for the $25,000 donation were gathered from the seventh annual Kids, Cowboys and Clays event held on Oct. 28.

  • That event has raised over $135,000 for Valley Children’s since it was started in 2017.

What they’re saying: Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation President Rob Saroyan thanked the association for its unwavering support.

  • “For seven remarkable years, the Clovis Rodeo Association has exemplified the power of true dedication and community spirit,” Saroyan said. “Their unwavering support goes beyond hosting an annual fundraising event for Valley Children’s Hospital – they selflessly contribute so much of their time participating in various activities throughout the year.”
