Molly DeFrank launches campaign for Clovis Unified School Board

DeFrank is hoping to succeed her husband on the board.

Author Molly DeFrank has launched her candidacy for the Clovis Unified School District Board. 

DeFrank is running to represent Area 2 to succeed her husband David DeFrank, who is not running for reelection. 

The big picture: DeFrank previously worked in the press offices of former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner. 

  • Her latest book is Digital Detox: The Two-Week Tech Reset for Kids, which she has discussed on Fox News
  • She has also featured as an expert on children and technology on Focus on the Family, the Doctors on CBS and other outlets. 
  • DeFrank has been endorsed by Fresno County Supervisor Nathan Magsig, former Supervisor Debbie Poochigian, CUSD Board members Tiffany Stoker-Madsen, Clint Olivier and Steven Fogg, former CUSD Board members Ginny Hovsepian and Sandy Budd and former Superintendent Eimear O’Brien. 
  • DeFrank and her husband have six children currently attending Clovis Unified schools.
