McDonald’s says California produce company linked to E. coli outbreak

McDonald’s states that onions from a California-based produce company have been linked to a deadly E. coli outbreak.

Taylor Farms of Salinas, California, was identified as the source of fresh onions linked to the E. coli food poisoning outbreak at McDonald’s. This led McDonald’s to remove Quarter Pounder hamburgers from restaurants in several states.
