Food service giant Lyons Magnus LLC is bringing a leading nutrition and health company into its Fresno operations.
Lyons Magnus announced Wednesday that it has acquired Hormel Health Labs, LLC, from Hormel Foods Corporation.
The big picture: With the acquisition, Lyons Magnus is launching Lyons Health Labs and will operate the new business unit in Fresno.
- The new company will focus on nutritional and healthy products for dysphagia, unintended weight loss, digestive health and hydration.
Go deeper: Hormel Health Labs has a number of best-selling products, including ReadyCare, THICK & EASY, Vital Cuisine, MED PASS 2.0, Mighty Shakes and Magic Cup, which will all be rebranded under the Lyons Health Labs name.
