Trump, Harris agree to debate on ABC

The two presidential candidates could meet on two other networks as well in September.

ABC announced that both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have agreed to participate in a presidential debate scheduled for September 10th.

The agreement comes after Trump initially pulled out of an ABC News debate, citing a lawsuit he had filed against the network.

The big picture: Trump said during a press conference Thursday that he has proposed three presidential debates: one with ABC, one with NBC and another with Fox News.

  • Trump said all three debates will be scheduled for September.
  • The Harris campaign did not make any announcements regarding the debates.

What we’re watching: The debate that will air on ABC is scheduled for Sep. 10.

  • If the Fox News proposal is agreed to, that would take place on Sep. 4.
  • NBC reported that the debate on its network would be set for Sep. 25.
