Trump launches broadside at Valadao, GOP “grandstanders” at CPAC

The remarks came amid former President Donald Trump’s remarks at CPAC 2021, his first public appearance since leaving the White House in January.

In his first public remarks since leaving the White House on Jan. 20, former President Donald Trump – speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla. – chastised moderate Republicans who criticized his handling of the Capitol siege and voted in favor of his impeachment in January.

Among the list? Rep. David Valadao.

The Valadao namecheck from the former President prompted the Hanford dairyman’s predecessor, former Rep. TJ Cox (D–Fresno) to go on the attack.

Andrew Renteria, Valadao’s top spokesman, fired back at Cox.
