Harris set for Fresno visit one day after Trump’s Calif. fire briefing

The California Senator and Democratic VP nominee Kamala Harris is heading to Fresno on Tuesday wildfires ravage the nearby Sierra Nevadas.

As the Creek Fire ravages the nearby Sierras, Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and California U.S. Senator Kamala Harris is returning to the San Joaquin Valley on Tuesday.

Harris’ visit comes one day after President Donald Trump meets with state and local fire officials in Sacramento for an all-hands briefing at McClellan Park.

Harris is expected to visit with local officials and fire personnel in downtown Fresno.

No other additional details were immediately available.

In an advisory, the Biden campaign noted that Harris is set to return to the Golden State – following a lengthy absence – Monday evening.
