The big picture: Ogle comes to the Fresno County Transportation Committee with 35 years of experience working for Caltrans, High-Speed Rail and several global professional engineering firms.

  • His work with Caltrans had him responsible for the delivery of several Measure C funded freeway construction projects.
  • Ogle has also worked on transportation projects stretching from San Joaquin County through San Bernardino County.
  • Current executive director Mike Leonardo is retiring after seven years in the position.

What they’re saying: “Ogle is a dedicated transportation and public works leader who knows the Valley well,” said Fresno County Supervisor Buddy Mendes, who is the chairman of the FCTA Board. “His 35 years of experience and knowledge of our local infrastructure is exactly what the FCTA needs to address the challenges facing our region.”
