Chick-fil-A at Fresno’s River Park to close for renovations

Chick-fil-A will shut down next month for unknown time period as it renovates the restaurant.

The Chick-fil-A in north Fresno will be closing its doors soon in order to renovate.

What we’re watching: Chick-fil-A announced that it will close down the location on Blackstone Ave., north of the Riverpark Shopping Center, on March 6 at 2 p.m.

  • The fast food restaurant said it does not have a definite reopening date.
  • Chick-fil-A will provide updates on its Instagram and Facebook pages as the renovation commences.

State of play: Chick-fil-A only has one other location in the area, located on Shaw Ave. at Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno.

  • The restaurant could eventually set up shop in Clovis. Last month Chick-fil-A started the application process with the City of Clovis for a location at Shaw and Helm Avenues.
