Four arrested at Mariposa Lutheran church for selling meth

The suspects were operating out of the church’s Sunday school room.

Four people have been arrested in connection to a church in Mariposa that was used to sell methamphetamine. 

Driving the news: Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested four people on Thursday that were in possession of methamphetamine. 

  • The four suspects were housed at the Lutheran Church on Highway 49 near Drury Lane. 
  • Officials say the methamphetamine and other paraphernalia were found in the church’s Sunday school room, where the four suspects were living. 
  • There was also evidence of drug sales found in a backpack in the kitchen area. 
  • The four arrested were Megan McWhorter, 49, Kelly Curtis, 57, Ray Hettinger, 43, and Michael Adamcik, 66.
