Kern County Fire Department Captain Bruce Wells has passed away from cancer.
Wells served in the department for three decades.

- “Bruce was above all a family man,” Duncan said in a statement. “He loved his wife Lisa and their three boys more than anything. Anyone who spoke with Bruce knew immediately what his priority was, it was his family. They were his rock, they were his anchor, he loved them immensely.”
