Bakersfield selected to hold statewide Hispanic Chambers of Commerce convention

With a majority of the city’s population Hispanic, Bakersfield is this year’s choice for the convention.

Bakersfield will host the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce’s 45th annual statewide convention. 

The big picture: The convention is scheduled for Aug. 21 through Aug. 23 at the Bakersfield Marriott.

  • The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce will focus on Hispanic businesses with presentations and policy-driven discussions. 

What they’re saying: “The Hispanic population in Bakersfield is over 57% and is in the heart of the state, making it accessible to all attendees,” said Veronica Corona, CFCC Board Chairperson. “The region boosts vital agriculture, oil and renewable energy economy that is key to California’s economic future.”
