Yelp is partnering with more than 20 small businesses throughout Fresno following Thanksgiving with a series of events to drive support for local companies.
The local arm of the business review app is kicking off its event, Fresno Made, on Friday, and it will run through Dec. 12.
Local businesses will host check-in offers for people who use the Yelp app.
The check-in offers range from receiving free food items, such as a bacon-wrapped chicken leg from MEGA Texas Barbeque or a cup of house coffee from Sierra Nut House, to a 50 percent discount for a drop-in class at Four Corners Yoga.
Other participating businesses include House of Pendragon Brewing Co., Raphio Chocolate, Moravia Wines, Root General Store and The Curry Pizza Company, among several others.
A full list of the check-in offers can be found on Yelp’s Fresno Made website.
Along with the check-in offers, Yelp is also holding three events at local small businesses.
Tap & Cellar will hold the first event on Dec. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a free wine tasting.
On Dec. 6, Namaste for Compassion will hold an outdoor yoga class at Full Circle Brewing from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The final event will be a virtual holiday card lettering workshop with Scribble & Script at 6 p.m.
