The West Hills Community College District has selected its new Chancellor.
Dr. Robert Pimentel was named as the district’s next Chancellor on Monday.

The big picture: Current Chancellor Dr. Kristin Clark is retiring at the end of July after three years leading the district.
- Pimentel joins West Hills Community College District from Fresno City College, where he was the President for the past two years.
- He is not new to West Hills Community College District, having worked at both campuses and the district office for nearly 18 years before moving to Fresno City College.
- Pimentel will start as Chancellor on Aug. 1.
