The California State Treasurer’s Office is reportedly involved in an FBI investigation.
According to a report from KCRA, multiple sources revealed that the FBI has contacted the Treasurer’s Office on Monday requesting information.
Driving the news: A spokesperson for State Treasurer Fiona Ma told KCRA that the office was contacted by a law enforcement agency requesting documents.

- It is unknown what the documents are related to and if Treasurer Fiona Ma is being investigated.
- Ma is running for Lieutenant Governor in 2026 and was joined by Sen. Steven Bradford (D–Gardena) in the race on Monday.
