Gov. Gavin Newsom declared closing time for the San Joaquin Valley’s bars on Sunday.

Additionally, bars in Stanislaus County were recommended to close by state public health authorities, but were not included in the closure order.
Newsom announced the shutdown – arriving two days after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott similarly shut down the Lone Star State’s bars – via Twitter on Sunday afternoon.
