Comcast plans to bundle streaming services in new package

Pricing is expected to be vastly reduced compared to comparable options.

Comcast is planning to launch a new streaming service called StreamSaver that will bundle together Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV.

Comcast Chair Brian Roberts revealed the plan at the Moffet Nathanson Investor Conference on Tuesday.

The big picture: The service will be available to Comcast’s broadband, TV, and mobile customers.

  • The bundle will come at a reduced price compared to existing streaming options, although specific pricing details were not provided.
  • Other media conglomerates like Warner Bros Discovery and Disney have also announced bundling partnerships with other companies to tap into the growing streaming market.
  • The move towards streaming comes as more consumers are cutting cable and opting for personalized live and on-demand streaming options.
