Shining a light on what really matters.
Driven with a mission for our Valley’s pulse
The San Joaquin Valley Sun is focused on delivering critical news on the issues and events facing the San Joaquin Valley – from Modesto to Bakersfield.
Our mission is to shine a light on what really matters in the San Joaquin Valley – from the region’s burgeoning agricultural economy to the people and events that make it so vibrant.
It is our goal to make news accessible and reader-friendly. That’s why we send out Sunrise AM, the most popular email digest of Valley news, every weekday morning at 6:30 a.m.
The Sun is a nonprofit news entity funded by you, our neighbors. We are an initiative of the Valley Future Foundation, Inc., a California nonprofit corporation.
