Fresno State to play on truTV and Max

The Mountain West announced a slate of games to be broadcast by TNT Sports in a new agreement.

Fresno State football will play three games this season broadcast on truTV and streaming platform Max.

The Mountain West announced Monday that it has signed a multi-year agreement with TNT Sports to broadcast games.

The big picture: Fresno State will play its first truTV/Max game on Sep. 14, when the Bulldogs host New Mexico State in the third game of the season.

  • The following week on Sep. 21, Fresno State will travel to New Mexico, which will be broadcast on truTV and Max.
  • Fresno State’s last game through TNT Sports will be on Oct. 26 when the Bulldogs host San Jose State.

State of play: The Bulldogs will now appear on four national broadcast networks, with truTV and Max added to NBC, Fox Networks and CBS Sports Network.

  • Fresno State is still awaiting the broadcast announcement for its last game of the season at UCLA on Nov. 30.

What they’re saying: “TNT Sports provides the Mountain West with a third national television partner to showcase the outstanding student-athletes across the league,” said Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. “TNT Sports has always been a leader in sports broadcasting, and adding one of the top conferences in the FBS to its lineup will certainly be a benefit to MW and college football fans across the country.”
