Stockton cops investigate 7-Eleven workers after viral beat down of robber

A viral beatdown of a robber at a Stockton 7-Eleven now has workers under investigation by cops.

They were robbed three times in the same night by the same man. On the third occasion, a pair of 7-Eleven workers in Stockton had enough, pinned him down, and beat him.

Now, the workers are under investigation by Stockton police, according to a report from KCRA.

  • In the July 28 incident, the suspect went behind the counter and threatened to shoot the clerk before taking several packs of cigarettes.
  • On July 29, the suspect demanded money while simulating that he had a handgun. When the worker did not comply, the suspect grabbed food items and fled.

Inside the investigation: Stockton police were initially unaware of the attempted robbery and assault when they responded to the suspect’s request for medical aid in the early morning.
