Megabus, the pre-pandemic East Coast favorite bus charter, is returning to California.
The service, which is noted for its point-to-point travel across the eastern seaboard, operated in the Golden State prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is returning with seven destination points on its initial slate.
Driving the news: The company will offer three trips daily between Anaheim, Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Fresno, San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento due to an increase in demand for travel.
- Schedules are now available for travel starting May 15, 2023, and beyond, and tickets can be purchased on the Megabus website.
- Megabus has served more than 50 million customers throughout more than 500 cities since its launch in 2006.
- The company said it’s committed to providing eco-friendly travel options and reducing its carbon footprint. Megabus buses emit the least carbon dioxide per mile when compared to other vehicles and are seven times more energy and fuel-efficient than single-occupancy automobiles.
