Oregon to induct Jenna Prandini into Hall of Fame

The Olympic sprinter and Clovis High School graduate will be enshrined among Oregon’s best student-athletes.

Clovis native Jenna Prandini will be honored by her alma mater, joining some of the top athletes in the university’s history.

The University of Oregon announced that Prandini will be inducted into its Hall of Fame class this year.

The big picture: Prandini is one of five individual former student-athletes to get the call for the 2025 class.

  • She will go in alongside 2014 Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Marcus Mariota, along with Sam Crouser, Hroniss Grasu and Janie Reed.

Driving the news: Prandini competed for Oregon from 2012 to 2015, leading the Ducks to the 2015 NCAA Outdoor title and a runner-up finish at the Indoor meet.

  • Throughout her collegiate career, Prandini won three NCAA titles, five Pac-12 championships and earned 14 All-America honors.
  • After college, Prandini joined the U.S. National Team and won the silver medal in the 4×100 meter relay at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

What they’re saying: “The 2025 Hall of Fame Class for Oregon Athletics is truly exceptional, including a Heisman Trophy winner, a Bowerman Award recipient, an Olympic medalist, and multiple NCAA team and individual national champions,” said Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens. “The excellence achieved by all inductees places them among the very elite in the storied history of Oregon Athletics, and we look forward to honoring them and their remarkable achievements this fall as they take their well-deserved place in the Hall of Fame.”
