Stockton man sentenced to prison for sexually exploiting minors

The man used social media to coerce minors to perform sexual acts for him on camera.

A Stockton man was sentenced to prison on Tuesday for the nationwide sexual exploitation of minors.

Elmer Yusay Ngo, 29, was given a 20 years sentence to be followed by 50 years of supervised release.

Driving the news: Ngo used social media to sexually exploit female minors nationwide.

  • The exploitation included attempting to coerce, entice and persuade the minors to produce child pornography of themselves.
  • Ngo would friend minors on social media, obtain at least one nude or partially nude image of minors, use the image as leverage to demand minors engage in video calls while nude and order minors to perform various sexual acts on themselves.
  • Ngo kept his end of the video call blacked out so that the minors could not see his face.
