Madera County man arrested for impersonating U.S. Marshal

The man manufactured his own firearm and created a fake uniform.

Madera County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 40-year-old man for impersonating law enforcement.

Deputies responded to a family disturbance on the 22000 block of Ave. 12 last Friday and arrested Andrew Biscay for outstanding warrants related to vandalism and impersonating a peace officer.

The big picture: Biscay initially resisted arrest but was eventually safely taken into custody after a struggle.

  • Deputies searched his vehicle and found a self-manufactured firearm, ammunition, a fake U.S. Marshal’s badge and uniform, a self-made baton and a flashing amber light.
  • Biscay’s vehicle also had markings that resemble law enforcement.
  • He was booked into the county jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, and his bail was set at $70,000.
  • The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who has ever been stopped by Biscay to call the office at (559) 675-7770.

Here are pictures of Biscay’s self-manufactured firearm, vehicle and fake uniform:
