Parlier police officer Jesus Dario Corona, 29, passed away early Sunday while he was on his way to work.
The Parlier Police Department said Corona died in a traffic collision in the 13500 block of Avenue 152 in southern Tulare County.
The big picture: Parlier police said deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Medical Services and California Highway Patrol responded to the accident, but unfortunately Corona had passed away.
- The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
- Corona is survived by his wife and a six-year-old daughter, who live in Porterville. He is also survived by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
- Corona was a member of the Parlier Police Department for around two years and served as a Patrol Officer and as a School Resource Officer at Parlier High School.
